White cedars at dawn

This photo arrived from my sister in Queensland and we agree that it makes a fabulous desktop! Taken at dawn, and you have to be fast to catch dawn or sunset in Queensland, the bare branches of white cedar trees in winter are stunning in front of the brilliant colours of the sunrise.

Geese in the Coal River at Richmond

The ducks and geese are well fed here as people have a long tradition of feeding them all the bread bits they have lying around. They look so graceful in with the reflections.
